Best Job Searching Advice For April Fool's Day

Today’s April Fools Day… 

...so here’s some job search advice you’ll definitely want to follow. 😉

(Just remember what day it is.)

1️⃣ Really sell yourself.
Because historically, selling people has gone super well. Let’s bring that back, right?

2️⃣ Hide everything.
Your age. Your experience. Especially anything older than 5 years—because obviously, nothing you learned before 2019 matters anymore.

3️⃣ Start with a giant block of text.
Put a giant block of text about you right at the top of your resume... because they’ll definitely want to read that summary instead of going through your experience and deciding for themselves.

4️⃣ Add columns. Everywhere.
Why make your resume easy to scan when you can turn it into a game of Where’s Waldo?

5️⃣ Keep it to ONE page.
Because as we all know, the single greatest predictor of job performance… is paper length. 🤷‍♀️
