These are things we can control in a job search:
- Our mindset 🧠
- Finding opportunities 🔎
- Our paper (resumes, cover letters, that stuff) 📄✍️
- Our follow-up 📢
- Our networking 🤝
- How we do in an interview 🎤
- Whether we accept a job offer, or not 🤷‍♂️

These are the things we can’t control in a job search:
- Invitations to interview 📩
- Job offers 🏆

Notice…there are A LOT more things we can control than we can’t.

The opportunity for you: focus on the things you can control and don’t worry about the stuff you can’t control.

When you focus on things you can control, more interviews and offers (which you can’t really control) WILL come your way. 🚀🎯
