Late, Not Late

Apr 26, 2025

On time.

Or late.

Two choices. ๐Ÿ•‘๐Ÿšช

No "almost."
No "traffic was bad."
No "sorry, life happens."
No "it is what it is." ๐Ÿ™„

If I say 3:00 pm and show up at 3:01 pm?

I'm late.

Period. ๐Ÿ”ฅ

Late is late.

One second, one minute, one hour — doesn’t matter. โฑ๏ธ

Every excuse leaks integrity. ๐Ÿ› ๏ธ

I recently got reminded of this in the most awesome way by my coach  Trevor Timbeck (Yeah, I was late.) ๐Ÿ˜ฌ

Not "fashionably late."
Not "only a little late."
Not "good."
Not "bad."
Just late

...and out of integrity. ๐Ÿšซ

Some say, "If you're not early, you're late."

Cute idea.

Not accurate. ๐ŸŽฏ

Early is early.
On time is on time.
Late is late. ๐Ÿ“

No gray area.

No participation trophies. ๐Ÿ†๐Ÿšซ

You either create your life — or react to it. โšก

Think "just a little late" doesn’t matter?

Cool.

Tell that to a pilot. โœˆ๏ธ
Or a surgeon. ๐Ÿฅ
Or a championship team down by one. ๐Ÿ€โณ

Am I perfect at this?

Hell no. ๐Ÿ˜‚

When I miss, I want to own it — and take a look at the workability of my systems. ๐Ÿ› ๏ธ๐Ÿ“‹

Own the clock.
Stay sharp. โœ‚๏ธ
Stay dangerous. ๐Ÿงจ

P.S. Tomorrow at 7:51 am EDT (so long as I'm not late), I’ll say more about how I want to clean things up when I'm late. ๐Ÿ”ง
