Puke.
It’s a strong word.
When you're sick, sometimes that’s what happens 🤢
And still - still - you’ll say,
“Eh, I’m fine.”
“It could be worse.”
We gaslight ourselves mid-vomit 🤯
Only after we’re better do we realize -
“Whoah, I was way worse off than I thought.”
Same thing happens in a bad job 💼
You know it’s not great.
And you stay.
Because:
“It’s not that bad.”
“It pays the bills 💸”
“It could be worse.”
And maybe, eventually, you leave.
And suddenly it’s like taking off a weighted vest you didn’t know you were wearing 🎯
You breathe again 😮💨
You feel again 💡
You realize -
“Wow, I was miserable.”
Here’s the real kicker:
Some people never get better.
They spend decades living “not that bad.”
If you're constantly tired 😓, checked out, or unfulfilled at work...
If you’ve been dragging for a while...
That’s not “normal.”
That’s a symptom ⚠️
And your cure might be waiting for you - somewhere better 🌱
I’d sure feel a whole lot better if we connected. Let’s make that happen → Eric Woodard
