Thinking About It Vs Taking Action
Aug 13, 2025
Those who “think about it” lose out on opportunities.
While you’re deciding, someone else is already 50% there.
Most people tell themselves they need more information before making a move.
They say, “Let me think about it π€.”
Here's the thing thought: human decision-making is 100% emotional β€οΈ.
We decide in a split second, and “thinking about it” is usually just stalling β³.
The moment you decide, two voices start talking:
Voice of Power – courage πͺ, optimism π, possibility π
Voice of Safety – fear π¨, caution β οΈ, “what if it goes wrong?”
The Voice of Power is strong in spurts and it tires fast β‘.
The Voice of Safety? It can go all day π‘οΈ. And it knows if it buys enough time... it wins π.
Thinking feels safe.
It feels like action.
It’s a placebo, and time kills all deals β.
That “safe” feeling?
It’s the reason you’ve missed out on chances you actually wanted π.
It’s the reason your big ideas fade into “maybe someday” π«οΈ.
When the Voice of Power speaks, move.
Don’t give the Voice of Safety time to talk you out of it.
You already know what you want - act while the courage is fresh π₯.
Thinking about it is the junk drawer of decision-making ποΈ.
What’s one decision you’ve been “thinking about” that you could act on todayβ
