🚫 I’m passionate about [fill in the blank]…
🚫 I believe I’m the best candidate…
🚫 I know I’d be great for you…
🚫 I’m excited to hear back…
🚫 I’d love to know about next steps…
🚫 I’m reaching out to see if you have any feedback…
🚫 I’m very interested in this role…
🚫 I look forward to hearing from you…

Please. Stop. Saying. This.

Instead: make it about them. Make them feel seen, heard, and understood.
